The Legacy of MLK, a Celebration of Hope

  • Springfield Town Library 43 Main Street Springfield, Vermont 05156 United States (map)

Brought to you by Springfield High School Aware students and Springfield Community for Change.
Join us for our annual celebration of Hope!
We are happy to get back to our annual celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His legacy teaches us strength and persistence in times of division and difficulty. We invoke his memory and legacy in inviting the community to share words of hope, joy, unity and justice with one another. In order to move forward we must dream together!
Our speak out invites all to share their hopeful art, song, poetry, prose, and other works to help us all build strength and hope for the coming new year.
As MLK once said: "If you lose hope, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps moving, you lose that courage to be, that quality that helps you go on in sprite of it all. And so today, I still have a dream.”
